Pedro Balage is a leading data scientist in the area of Search & Discovery at Farfetch where he has a special interest in data-driven approaches to improving search relevance. He holds a PhD in Natural Language Processing and has over 8 years of experience working on Natural Language Processing and Infromation Retrieval problems for different industry segments. He currently a member from the Instituto de Telecomunicações (IT - Portugal) and co-organizer of the Lisbon Machine Learning School (LxMLS).
