Fredrik is the tech lead and architect on the Data Platform team of the City of Oslo. Here he works on establishing a data platform as part of the city's new developer service platform, with the goal to provide users with safe and easy ways to access, share and analyze data across the city government. Previously he has worked as a data engineer in Schibsted, with a focus on event stream processing, utilizing Kafka and Kafka Streams to route, filter, transform and enrich 800 million daily incoming events. Fredrik has held training courses in Kafka Streams, Scala, Java 8 and functional programming, and likes to speak at conferences.
