Erik Erlandson works with the Technology and Engagement team at Red Hat, where he investigates analytics use cases and scalable deployments for Intelligent Applications in the cloud. He is co-chair of the Kubernetes Big Data SIG and an Apache Spark committer. Erik is the author of the coulomb project for compile-time unit analysis in Scala, and has contributed to several projects in the big data ecosystem, including the Kubernetes scheduler backend for Spark, Algebird, and Scala.
