Benoit Hanotte is a software engineer at Criteo, building and operating pipelines running on Europe's largest Hadoop cluster. As a member of the Optimizations team, he has built a robust experience in getting the most out of data-processing frameworks such as Spark and Scalding, used to process more than 4PB of data daily to deliver class-leading digital advertisement. Benoit is the main contributor to Babar, and open source profiler used to dimension, optimize and debug large-scale distributed applications on Yarn. It is used at Criteo to build and tune jobs, allowing them to process the ever-growing datasets in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
